Glitch Art & Deconstructivism

Glitchart can be considered a form of deconstructivism as it deals with the artistic use of errors and glitches. Deconstructivism is an art movement that emerged in the 1980s and deals with the breakdown of structures and conventions in art. In deconstructivism, existing ideas and concepts are taken apart and reassembled to create something new and different.

Glitchart shares this interest in breaking structures and conventions, using glitches as a starting point for artistic creation. In this sense, it could be argued that glitchart is a form of deconstructivism that specifically deals with the artistic handling of glitches.

It’s important to note, however, that glitchart isn’t the only form of deconstructivism and that there are other art movements exploring similar themes. Deconstructivism is a broad and multifaceted concept that can encompass many different art forms.
